Frequently Asked Questions
What if I change my mind about the sets when I arrive?
No problem. Your selections simply help us prepare. Once you see the sets in person, we’ll photograph you in the two sets you love most.
How many people can participate?
Couples, families, and groups are all welcome! For groups larger than five, please contact us before booking so we can make sure everyone can be comfortably accommodated.
What should we wear?
Make it your own! Matching outfits, cozy Christmas pajamas, ugly sweaters, jeans and white tees, or festive outfits are all welcome. Feeling glamorous? Think velvet, satin, gold, silver, black, or elegant eveningwear. Each set includes a brief wardrobe and color suggestion to help you choose what will photograph beautifully.
Can we bring multiple outfits?
Of course! You're welcome to bring different looks. Please arrive in your first outfit and keep changes quick, since the session lasts 30 minutes.
Are pets welcome?
Absolutely! Your four-legged family members are welcome. Let us know when booking. Pets must remain supervised throughout their visit.
Can we choose our favorite portraits?
Yes! Immediately after your session, you'll enjoy a personalized viewing experience on our 85-inch screen, where you'll select five favorite portraits for professional retouching.
When will our portraits be ready?
Your professionally retouched digital portraits will be delivered within one week of your session through a Dropbox link, ready to download and share. Prefer restricted access? Let us know before delivery.
Can we use our portraits for Christmas cards and gifts?
Absolutely! Your portraits are perfect for Christmas cards, gifts, family announcements, and New Year's greetings. Your finished digital portraits include personal printing rights.
Can we use our portraits for New Year's celebrations?
Absolutely! Several sets are ideal for elegant New Year's portraits, too.
Can we bring our own props or accessories?
Small personal touches, such as a favorite ornament or festive accessories, are welcome. Please let us know in advance so we can ensure they work with your chosen sets.
What if my child is shy or doesn't want to participate?
We understand that little ones can be unpredictable. We'll do our best to create a relaxed experience, but specific smiles, poses, expressions, and cooperation cannot be guaranteed within a 30-minute session.
What happens if we're running late?
Please arrive 10 minutes early, dressed and ready. Late arrivals will be photographed during the time remaining in their original appointment. Sessions cannot be extended or delay the next reservation.
Can we cancel or reschedule?
Due to limited seasonal availability, reservations are final. Booking deposits are nonrefundable, and client-requested cancellations and rescheduling are not available, except as required by applicable law. Full conditions are provided before payment.
Where is the studio? Is parking available?
We're located at The Lounge | Creative Studio in Marysville, Washington. You'll receive parking and arrival instructions with your confirmation. Safeway is a nearby landmark.
Before payment, review the Session Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy before reserving. The required acknowledgment of booking terms must be configured in Acuity. This page does not collect consent or payments. Promotional image use is addressed separately in an optional Model Release.
